I always wonder about the meaning of religion when somebody says, “I am not religious” Heard anybody saying this? Isn’t performing one’s duties, regularly- personal, social and professional- religion? The term used, probably, should be “I am very much or not very much’ religious. We have also heard of the term ‘doing duties religiously- devotedly etc.
One can be more religious, if they pray, devote certain time for satsang, kirtan, katha-vaarta and go to temple, Church etc. So according to me it is just more religious, very religious or not very religious. There shouldn’t be not religious.
